CLASS OF '66
LETTER FROM THE ALUMNI ASSOCIATION PRESIDENT
Dear Fellow Alumni,
As I end and begin a new term in office, I would like to thank each of you for your vote of confidence by electing me, to serve you the Dudley Alumni Association, Inc. for the next two years. This being said, I look forward to working with each of you as we move forward in panther fashion.
As we think back to our days at James B. Dudley High School becoming class scholars, school officers, participating in different activities and looking forward to graduation. Let’s observe our youth as they travel the hall of excellence with hopes that they will experience the wisdom that was conveyed upon us, so that they will in turn graduate with the knowledge of making their lives better.
Our mission is “To Preserve and Cherish the Dudley Legacy.” We make this happen by awarding scholarships to deserving graduating seniors, making gift and donations to the school, constantly updating our history, recognizing deserving individuals, for their contributions to the school and community, as well as support the purposes of furthering the school and alumni association.
Remember, all persons who have attended James B. Dudley High School are “Dudleyite” and members of the largest high school alumni association nationwide. The legacy continues with you. We meet once a quarter beginning in November from 10:00 A.M. - 12:30 P.M. and dues are only $25.00 yearly. If you know or see any alumni, remind them of the meetings, as we look forward to your participation. Remember to save the date – 3rd weekend in July – as we celebrate the 45th Consolidated Reunion, honoring the Class of 1970 as they celebrate their 50th year and classes ending in “0” and “5”. All membership dues are 100% tax deductible.
Sincerely,
Martha Dick
